BERC is a co-sponsor of this awareness-and fund-raising event that focuses attention on healthy lungs and clear air. The walk/run will follow access roads to the finish line at the top of Bolton Valley Ski Area.

Attended by project developers, technology providers, utilities, investors, lenders, contractors, and other industry players, this major networking event provides an opportunity for the biomass community to gather and explore the development and financing of biomass projects.

Society of American Foresters 2010 Annual Meeting

As part of the Economics of Forest Management track (October 28), BERC Policy and Development Director Andrea Colnes will present on the public policy context shaping and driving the development of the biomass energy industry at the national level. Her presentation will cover the critical issues that must be addressed to ensure effective, sustainable development of biomass energy at the community scale, an overview of existing national energy policy as it pertains to biomass, and emerging initiatives and opportunities.
